Green Lantern Corps #28 Review

on February 13, 2014

Van Jensen goes solo for the first time in Green Lantern Corps #28. Check out what has to say about it in the review:

“I will go as far to say that Jensen’s John Stewart is the best to be found anywhere. Jensen is the first Green Lantern writer ever that fully understands everything that was ever great about the character, and he incorporates all of it. Jensen’s done his research. He’s read almost every notable John Stewart appearance there has been. He’s watched the Justice League and Justice League Unlimited cartoons. He’s listened to the character’s true fans and knows what they like about him and what they want to see.”

Be sure to pick the issue up. When Van Jensen, Bernard Chang, and Marcelo Maiolo team up, you can bank on a top-class comic book.

Oa, by the way

TheGenerationWest has put together a video with sound clips of all of John Stewart’s voice actors. Unsurprisingly, my favorite is Phil LaMarr, the voice actor who portrays John Stewart in Justice League, Justice League Unlimited, and Injustice: Gods Among Us. Take a listen!

  1. Hudson Faber says:

Phil Lamarr is really the best one out of the four. But I can’t wait to see what future actors manage to pull off with John.

Phil Lamarr is the best voice actor. Michael Jai White would be the best live action version of him. Kevin Michael Richardson always does a good job.
